I’m not sure why, but somehow I always pictured Leyte as kind of boring…and flat. Instead, as my flight from Cebu prepared for landing in Tacloban, I was shocked to see beautiful, mountainous terrain out the window! Add to that coconut-tree lined white-sand beaches, and you see why my excitement really began to grow…follow along...
